What it will do

StepWhat happens
1. UploadYour shipment spreadsheet (CSV/XLSX) — or our template. Parsed in your browser.
2. Map oncePoint your columns (PO number, UPC, qty, cartons, SSCC) at the right fields. Saved for next time.
3. GenerateOne valid 856 per PO — correct pallet→carton→item hierarchy, SSCC-18 check digits verified.
4. ValidateEvery issue in plain English: “Walmart requires a carton-level; your file has pallet→item with no carton.”
5. SendDownload and upload to WebEDI in Retail Link (or your VAN). We show you exactly where.

Why not just use WebEDI's forms, or a full EDI provider?

You can key ASNs field-by-field into WebEDI for free — many suppliers do, until volume or a mis-keyed carton count bites. Full-service providers (SPS, TrueCommerce) automate everything from ~$120–300/month plus setup fees, which makes sense at hundreds of documents a month. FluentEDI is for the supplier in between: flat $39/month, unlimited documents, no sales call, working from the spreadsheet your warehouse already produces.

Honest scope

v1 generates and validates the files; you upload them to Walmart yourself (WebEDI accepts file uploads — we walk you through it). Direct AS2 transmission is on the roadmap. One ASN per PO at launch; if you consolidate many POs onto one truck, tell us — it moves the multi-PO ASN feature up the list.
